Links: http://raq4.buydonlin.com/ January 2003 - Donlin Teleproduction Engineering became an authorized Telos Systems dealer and supplied Puerto Rico’s Tony Mojena Television with multiple One-x-Six Talk Show Systems. Once again we had the distinct pleasure of offering a $500 rental prize to a rising talent in the independent film community. This 5-day festival showcases new films from the New England community and from around the globe. Links: www.northamptonfilmfestival.com September 2002 - Donlin geared up for two nights of rock ‘n roll at the Worcester Centrum courtesy of Neil Diamond. This show required a complete wireless, remote three-camera setup, so Donlin suited three Sony DSR-500 PAL cameras with wireless zoom and focus control using the Charly by bebob, and the remote pan/tilt option was accomplished by fitting the cameras onto Egripment’s ENG Hot Shot head. The gear was quite compatible and setup went remarkably smooth. This summer we were pleased to have the opportunity to offer our support for this important growing film festival! We sponsored a $500 Rental Prize for one of the four New England Emerging Filmmaker Awards that was presented. The BBC was conducting an ongoing video essay tackling the issues involved with the aftermath of the September 11 attacks and they called upon Donlin to supply a Teleprompter and Operator for the Cambridge event. This three camera, iso-record shoot successfully captured and conveyed the hilarious stage antics that Basile is famous for radiating in the live arena. Links: http://raq4.buydonlin.com/ February 2002 - Donlin Teleproduction Engineering sent top technical crew and broadcast equipment to Monterrey, Mexico for the United Nations’ Summit on International Financing for Development. Donlin’s job was to record and broadcast a full coverage, live feed of the speeches and activities by the 50 world leaders in attendance to news sources around the globe. In addition, Donlin coordinated the broadcast equipment, design, and operation for the 4 conference rooms, 2 interview studios, press conference areas, edit facilities, and the central control room boasting six switcher packages and seven separate record stations.
